Terms of Use
Our network has been created to build community and foster a super-charged atmosphere of exploration. We seek people who are passionately interested in life's big questions -- Who are we? Why are we here? What is the origin and purpose of life? -- as well as the smaller questions of what we can do to help ourselves, and our planet, make a safe passage through the turbulent times in which we live. These topics cover a lot of territory, which means we encourage serious discussion about everything. And in order to create a safe environment in which deep discussions can take place, we expect everyone who visits this website to conduct themselves in a civil and respectful fashion, even when they are upset and/or discussing emotionally-charged issues. We also expect people to tell the truth and not pretend to be someone they are not. Abusive, deceitful, flagrantly self-righteous people, in other words, will not be permitted to poison this well. Such people will be promptly banned from our network. Those who behave themselves, on the other hand, will find a home on the Net that not only welcomes, but cherishes and celebrates their presence and unique perspectives and contributions.
